Creating Art with Nature's Palette

Large Scale Nest Earth Art

Gabriela has always been a Wild Earth Artist. In wonder and delight of the natural world, her inspiration to create earth art is a way of communing; of making sanctuary. As a lifelong collector of stick wands, pinecones, stones and glorious found objects from the ocean shores, mountain trails and forest floors, she sees beauty in the sacred geometry of the greatest master artist of all, Mother Nature.

Gabriela's Earth Art

Many of her pieces weave together ARTifacts with intention, created in a meditative process. Most recently she has been moved by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, where destruction dominated a formerly pristine landscape. This has birthed the themes of Making Art of Chaos, Healing through Creativity, Being in Apprenticeship to the Cyclical Wisdom of the Natural World, and Leaving Beauty in Our Wake.

The Pieces

Her pieces range from intricately woven wreaths to elaborate earth altars, human size nests, ceremonial spaces and sanctuary structures. They are available "By Donation" for those who resonate with the idea that the Wild Earth cannot be commodified. Offering a donation, rather than a fixed cost, honors the artist and the priceless value of the Wild Earth.
